Tank You is part of the Airsoft World group who are basically a bunch of kids trapped in adults bodies! We started in business from the back of a Land Rover Defender in March 2004! The founder and current director Steve Madley, started playing airsoft (paintball with BB guns) and through the equipment supply company that he subsequently set up, decided to split the tank side of the business to enable us to concentrate on it seperately.

Duncan Whyte, our Chief Technician is the Tank Commander of TankYou. If he doesn't know the answer to your tanky query then it probably doesn't exist :) He's an R/C Tank enthusiast and can often be seen sending others in the office to sleep with his technical descriptions and riveting stories about his remote control submarine that has more holes in it than the House of Commons petty cash tin.

Duncan is our Tank Commander, his enthusiasm for the hobby is remarkable.... :)

The growth of Airsoft World is equally as interesting (?!) Steve and his wife Susan owned a Deli/Restuarant in the seaside town of Burntisland in Fife. Steve also had a video shop on the first floor where he made space in the back corner of the shop and the first official airsoft shop in Scotland was created. At the onset of the VCRA in 2005, Steve decided to buy an existing RFD (Registered Firearms Dealer) shop in Crossgates, 5 miles inland. After almost two years there, working from the shop and four shipping containers half a mile away in a farmyard, the decision was made to move to much larger commercial warehousing facilities 5 miles North. That's where we are now.

Tank You and Airsoft World Ltd now operates from approx. 22,000 sq.ft of warehouses with seperate offices, showroom, technicians workshop, spray paint/custom shop, RFD Armoury and custom built explosives storage magazines. It is without a doubt the largest and fully stocked airsoft retail and wholesale distribution point in the UK, possibly even Europe. Airsoft World Ltd's buying power and direct links with the manufacturers enables us to pass on great deals and level of backup service previously unavailable elsewhere.

So, where do we go from here? TankYou are nothing without our customers. We aim to continue our award winning customer focus and service. We will continue to listen to you and do our best to provide your wishes in the most professional manner. If you think we are doing something wrong or could do something else better, please let us know!

We would also like to thank all our customers and other friends who have stuck by us and helped TankYou get where it is today. We love this hobby and will continue to play our part in making it stronger!
